Clear Skies Over Boise

Two and a half hours vs. eight by road?  No Contest!  Grammy Sheryl and Great-grandma Geri had recent surgeries and a little care-package arrived to provide cheer.   Aaron takes the route following highways when he has his girls onboard!

Orangie has been spruced up!  Logan and her daddy go for a ride in Orangie just about every day.  Logan will inherit Orangie someday.  She told Grammy Sheryl that she wanted to go for a ride in Orangie.

Winter Wonderland

Missoula has been blanketed, over and over, with S-N-O-W...and there is NO part of it that Miss Logan does not LOVE! She had her first ski lesson shortly after Christmas and the instuctor thought she was a natural. To keep up with her demands to sled down our driveway we have trained Doc to pack her back and forth! Grammy Sheryl was visiting via the phone when this little voice in the background announced..."I Gotta Go". No...nothing to do with potty-training...she was peering through the window at daddy shoveling the sidewalk, yet again, and she felt the urge to play...AGAIN.

Christmas 2011 - Boise

Logan was quite dazzling on Christmas Eve...spent with Aaron's family

at his Aunt Joan's. Logan got herself all dolled up and was fascinated

with the Christmas tree before we left for dinner.

Grandpa and Grandma Foster were missed as they spent

Christmas in Kamiah due to knee surgery for Aaron's mom.

We all wish her a speedy recovery.

Aunt Lindsey brought her goldendoodle puppy, Scarlet.

to spend Christmas with Copper and Piper.

Santa brought Logan a Memory Game and the Simon sisters

(not a bit competitive) picked up an old family tradition.

Look what Aunt Lindsey found at the Boise airport!

New red sweater from Uncle Larry and Aunt Sharon in North Carolina.

Geri joined us for Christmas Day.

Logan enjoys a story from her great-grandma.

Testing out the doctor kit and new dollie.

This now makes TWO, Grandpa Phil!

Bang, bang...better save up your pennies!

All wrapped up in the packaging...entertained us for about an hour Christmas Eve. WHY did we spend money on presents?

Back from our walk...Piper soothes tired feet...

New play equipment in the park...

TThese boots were THE hit this year.
For every pair of shoes...Grandpa Phil
will have to buy Logan a ___?

Preparing for her return, tomorrow, to bear country!

Logan has been busy lately. She now has a swing and a slide in the backyard. Also, she likes to tool around on her tricycle. We are pretty excited about the weather cooling off because Logan has a whole new wardrobe of CUTE coats, vests and boots. She thinks my ipod is a phone...
